Larry Elder has exited Citadel’s Talk KABC-AM/Los Angeles after 15 years, his last broadcast will be today. He will be replaced by Al Rantel from 3-7pm, followed by the syndicated ex guardian angel Curtis Sliwa and Mark Levin.
“It’s with sadness I must tell you that KABC management and I have decided that tomorrow will be my last broadcast on KABC,” Elder told his audience Thursday.
President/GM John Davison commented, “This will be a tough change for both of us because Larry has meant so much to KABC radio over the years. We part with KABC’s respect, gratitude and best wishes for what we believe will be a very bright future given Larry’s many talents.” (translated: get out of the building, we need ratings)(laugh)

Larry saw the issues for what they really were and stood up for his beleifs.
He will land on his feet elsewhere and will have a bigger audience when he does.
