Do you remember where you were when the Chicago Cubs finally won a World Series after their 108 year drought?  I definitely remember where I was and Chicago Radio was ruled by Cubs talk.

In order to keep the party going  CBS Radio stations in Chicago will be broadcasting live on Monday(4/10) from Wrigley Field and other venues in the area for the World Champion Chicago Cubs’ home opener.

The on-air broadcasts and appearances begin during morning drive and continue throughout the day. Full-game coverage is on sports “The Score” WSCR (670); first pitch at 7:05pm.

In addition to The Score, rhythmic CHR “B96” WBBM-FM, adult alternative WXRT (93.1), country “US99” WUSN and classic hits “104.3 K-Hits” WJMK will all have staff on hand with broadcasts and appearances in and around Wrigleyville and at local bars and restaurants throughout the day.

“We’re looking forward to incorporating our five radio stations at the Cubs home opener where we will host a day of fun and engaging live broadcasts and events for our collective fans and listeners,” senior VP/market manager Tim Pohlman said. “We value our continued relationship with the Chicago Cubs organization as the exclusive radio home of this amazing team, providing our audience the ability to join us on what we hope is the road to another World Series Championship.”
