CBS RADIO Washington, D.C. announced today that Dana McKay, the highly rated Midday air personality, Assistant Program Director and Social Media Manager for WIAD will also assume the role of Music Director for 94.7 Fresh FM. 94.7 FRESH-FM serves residents of the Washington, D.C. metro area with the top hits, entertainment and fun and is one of the most listened to stations in Washington. “Dana is a tremendous talent, an incredible asset to the station and is invaluable to me in programming Fresh,” said Vice President of Programming of CBS RADIO DC and WIAD Program Director, Steve Davis. “This additional responsibility recognizes the many contributions Dana brings to us each and every day.” Dana McKay has been on-air for 94.7 Fresh FM since August 2014 and has served as Assistant Program Director since April 2016. In addition, Ms. McKay also serves as WIAD Social Media to help Digital improve the activity and engagement of social media platforms, most notably Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Prior to joining 94.7 Fresh FM, Dana enjoyed success as an air talent in Tampa, Hartford and Sacramento.
