Acclaimed musician, actor and film director Dwight Yoakam will perform at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Las Vegas for a two-night, limited engagement on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4 at 8 p.m.

Dwight Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, placing him in an elite group of global superstars. He has 12 gold albums and 9 platinum or multi-platinum albums, including the triple platinum This Time. Five of those albums have topped Billboard’s Country Albums chart, with another 14 landing in the Top 10. Nearly 40 of Yoakam’s singles have charted, with 14 peaking in the Top 10, including the hits “Honky Tonk Man,” “Please, Please Baby,” “Little Ways,” “I Sang Dixie,” “It Only Hurts When I Cry,” and “Fast as You.” He is a 21-time nominated, 2-time GRAMMY Award winner. In celebration of his critically-acclaimed album, ‘3 Pears,’ he received the Artist of the Year award at the 2013 Americana Music Honors & Awards ceremony, the most prestigious award offered by the organization. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked the song “Guitars, Cadillacs” #94 in their list of the 100 greatest country songs of all time. In 2015, Yoakam released his 16th studio album, Second Hand Heart. The album was self-produced by Yoakam, and according to NPR, “feels as fresh as anything he’s ever done.”
In addition to his musical career, Yoakam is a formidable film and television actor, capable of seamlessly melting into his roles, and impressively standing toe-to-toe with some of the world’s top thespians over the course of his storied and successful acting career, including Jodie Foster, Tommy Lee Jones, Jared Leto, Forest Whitaker, and Matthew McConaughey.
