Today, MoonPay, the world’s leading web3 infrastructure provider, announced the launch of HyperMint, a self-service, developer-focused platform that enables enterprises, creative agencies, brands, and more to create, manage, and mint utility NFTs at a speed of hundreds of millions a day. The new platform was unveiled in a keynote address by MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright at Radio City Music Hall during the NFT.NYC conference.

HyperMint debuts with launch partners Fox Corporation, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), Universal Pictures, Death Row Records, music producer Timbaland’s Beatclub, British luxury department store Selfridges, and global lifestyle and gaming platform, FaZe Clan. These and other global leaders in entertainment, music, fashion, gaming, and sports will leverage HyperMint’s capabilities to design, produce and distribute utility NFTs to millions of fans worldwide.

For over a decade, web2 consumer engagement and brand-building focused on social media-driven targeted advertising, which relies on personal data and information. However, changing market conditions, including fragmented audiences, new data privacy laws, and increasing consumer privacy expectations are prompting enterprises, major brands and creative agencies across music, fashion, gaming, entertainment, and sports to shift to a new model based on ownership, engagement, and authenticity powered by utility NFTs.

“Utility NFTs are going to go way beyond collectibles and towards real-world functionality,” said MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto Wright. “They will help companies, brands, and creative agencies move from using targeted advertising to reach customers to one based around long-term ownership, engagement, and authenticity. And MoonPay’s HyperMint is the enterprise-level infrastructure that will make that monumental shift possible.”
