KHHT/Los Angeles is 86ing The Morning Jamz Session featuring urban radio vet Diana Steele and sidekicks Rico and MD Damon Knight. Clear Channel is bringing in Victor Zaragoza for mornings who descends from KYLD/San Francisco where he hosts a weekend old school show? What a boot in the ass. A part time announcer from a smaller market is replacing a full time morning show crew (OUCH!) The new show will launch Monday, Aug. 13. Knight will maintain urban MD duties. Since it’s an urban station, wonder if they ever thought about hiring a black host? Oh, I forgot, this IS Los Angeles Radio. There are some things I really don’t miss about LA.
