iHeartMedia Honolulu announced today that Andy Lohman has been named Area President for the Honolulu, Hawaii area, effective immediately. Lohman will also continue to serve as the Area President for the Alaska markets. iHeartMedia Honolulu has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than eight stations comprised of music, talk and news formats. iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company.

As Area President, Lohman will add oversight to his portfolio of stations and be responsible for all operations across the Honolulu market. Lohman will also continue to oversee the Anchorage and Fairbanks Alaska markets. He will continue to report to Dan Lankford, Division President for iHeartMedia Markets Group.

“Andy has done a great job leading his Alaskan markets and I’m excited to see how our Alaska and Hawaii markets will work together because of their shared unique characteristics,” said Lankford.

“I’m sure Andy and Honolulu Market President Scott Hogle will work closely together to elevate both areas.” “I’m looking forward to working with Market President Scott Hogle and his fantastic iHeart Hawaii team,” said Lohman.

“Hawaii has its own unique culture, and iHeart Hawaii is an integral part of the island lifestyle. The Alaska/Hawaii Area comprises not only the two states separate from the lower 48, but also two of the most beautiful places to live in America. We will be strong partners.”

iHeartMedia is the leading media outlet in the Honolulu market with multiple platforms, including its broadcast stations; live events; data; and its digital businesses and platforms, including mobile, social and its own iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia’s free all-in-one digital music, podcasting and live streaming radio service – with 3 billion app downloads and more than 160 million registered users.
