iHeartMedia Extends Contract with Rover

iHeartMedia, the leading media company in America with a greater reach in the U.S. than any other radio or television outlet, announced it has renewed and extended its agreement with Rover, on-air personality for Rover’s Morning Glory, the popular morning show syndicated across several markets nationwide.

Rover will continue to host Rover’s Morning Glory, which broadcasts weekdays from 6 – 11 a.m. on affiliates in key markets, including its flagship station 100.7 WMMS in Cleveland, OH. The five-hour show will continue to feature on-air personalities Rover, Duji, Dieter, Charlie, Nadz, Alex and Jeffrey.

“We’ve had a blast working with iHeartMedia since 2008 to expand and grow the show,” said Rover. “In the coming months we’ll enter the next phase of Rover’s Morning Glory – something BIG that’s never been tried in radio before. As the saying goes…stay tuned!”

Rover’s Morning Glory’s reach also includes the RMG-TV live videocast of the show, which streams daily on the interactive www.RoverRadio.com and the RMG mobile app. The show recently hosted its ninth annual RoverFest, a live concert and community event that attracted over 20,000 attendees and featured performances from established and rising star recording artists and a fireworks display as well as highlighted locally owned businesses.

“We could not be more excited to reach an agreement to keep Rover’s Morning Glory on WMMS in Cleveland and other iHeartMedia stations across the country,” said Tom McConnell, President of the Midwest/Southeast Division for iHeartMedia. “He’s a very unique talent who has an unparalleled connection to his listeners and local communities.”
