iHeartMedia announced today that Kristy Beebe has been named Area President for the newly formed Kentucky/Carolina Area, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Kentucky/Carolina has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than 47 stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Area President, Beebe will be responsible for all operations over the seven markets in the newly formed Kentucky/Carolina Area, including Louisville, Lexington and Somerset, KY along with Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Florence, SC. She will report to Nick Gnau, Division President for iHeartMedia.

Kristy Beebe joins the Kentucky/Carolina Area from the iHeartMedia Indianapolis cluster where she most recently served as the Market President. She also served as the Vice President of Sales for the iHeartMedia Kentucky markets. She began her career at Cumulus Broadcasting in Toledo, Ohio and is a graduate of Lourdes College.
