iHeartMedia Names Rahul Sabnis Chief Creative Officer & Executive Vice President for “TheStudio at iHeartMedia”

iHeartMedia announced today that Rahul Sabnis has been promoted to Chief Creative Officer & Executive Vice President for the newly-branded in-house creative group “TheStudio at iHeartMedia” reporting into Darren Davis, President of iHeartRadio and iHeartMedia Networks Group.

“Rahul continues to produce the impactful design and creative that defines our company’s brand identity, and has truly enriched the way our iHeart brands look, feel and perform across all of our platforms,” said Davis. “He continues to create a clear brand image for iHeart that successfully resonates with our audiences and delivers value and results for our partners.”

Under Rahul’s leadership iHeart will combine its Creative Studio and “CSG” in Atlanta into one creative powerhouse — “TheStudio at iHeartMedia” — that will help better align its resources and efforts.  TheStudio in-house agency will provide a range of high level strategy and creative services, helping iHeart’s own brands and the brands of its advertising and marketing partners use the efficiency and efficacy of audio seamlessly across all its company assets at the scale that only iHeart can deliver.

Rahul previously served as EVP and Executive Creative Director for iHeartMedia.  Prior to joining iHeartMedia in 2017, Rahul was the Executive Creative Director and Head of Creative at MullenLowe Profero; he has also spent time at 360i, Havas Worldwide, and Digitas.

Sabnis’ efforts have helped his past agency earn a spot on the Ad Age Agency A-List five times in the last eight years. He has won “Best of Show” for OMMA, and an Effie in the highly contested package goods category. His work has also been recognized by the Webby, W3 and IMA Awards including a showing at the iconic Sundance Film Festival.

Sabnis has judged the Clios, the Art Directors Club, the Addys, and volunteers time with multiple universities to encourage the next generation to choose the industry he loves.
