KMLE – 107.9 Has a New Midday Host

kmleJeana Shepard has been appointed the midday host on the New KMLE @ 107.9. Shepard will be heard weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the New KMLE @ 107.9 beginning Monday, Feb. 8, on-air, online at KMLE1079.com or via the Radio.com app for mobile devices.
“Jeana’s on-air sound coupled with her work ethic and passion for radio won her this opportunity in a field of talented choices,” said Tim Richards, CBS RADIO Phoenix Vice President of Programming.

“I’m really excited and very thankful to be here,” said Shepard. “I am grateful for the opportunity to work for such an iconic station, and with the amazing on-air KMLE team. I am ready to give this everything I have!”

Shepard is a Phoenix native and a graduate of Arizona State University. Her most recent experience includes working as a weekend host on KMLE and as the KMLE morning show producer from April 2014 to March 2015.

Shepard replaces Chris Matthews as the midday air personality following Matthews’ move to mornings.
