Radio One Cincinnati today announced its inaugural Back to School Drive Thru event which will be held on Saturday August 13, 2022, from noon until 3:00 pm at Sawyer Point located at 705 E. Pete Rose Way Cincinnati Ohio. The entire month of July, Radio One Cincinnati collected brand new closed toe sneaker donations for its first ever Back to School Sneaker Drive. Sneaker donations
ranged in size from 10c in kids through youth/adult size 17.
Radio One Cincinnati met its first-year goal by collecting over 600 pairs of brand-new sneakers. Due to the success of the Back-to-School Sneaker Drive, many local school-aged children will have the opportunity to go back to school wearing a pair of brand-new sneakers, in style. Radio One Cincinnati wants to encourage kids to get excited about their first day of school while wearing their new kicks!
On Saturday August 13th, Radio One Cincinnati and The Law Offices of Blake Maislin will host the 3rd annual Back to School Drive Thru event, presented by CAA Head Start, from noon until 3:00 pm at Sawyer Point. During this event, organizers will give away 1,000 back packs, thousands of school supplies, and at least 600 pairs of brand-new sneakers. Additionally, the Law Offices of Blake Maislin will be distributing 1000 candy bars with four bars wrapped in gold worth $444 each.
