Overview:
Reach Media, Inc. is seeking an experienced Executive Producer a nationally syndicated inspirational morning show. The Executive Producer will oversee all on-air operational responsibilities of morning radio show including studio oversight and direction of talent, production and show content.
Qualified candidate will provide in studio leadership and vision for creative and strategic programming/operational efforts for the program. Candidate will have worked in a medium or major market as a Program or Assistant Program Director.
Position is located in Dallas, TX.
Required Experience and Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain responsibility for the on air operations of the program.
Responsible for all aspects of audio board operations.
Collaborate with talent and production staff to produce audio element to brand daily radio show.
Responsible for making recommendations, brainstorming and identifying programming content, music features and NTR opportunities within Reach Media guidelines and standards.
Interfaces with Engineering / Operations departments to insure technical broadcast executions.
Execution of programming operational policies and procedures. Check that copyrights are cleared and that output meets REACH Media legal guidelines.
Provides audio/written materials from program for website/social media posting and affiliate delivery.
Ability to book quality guests, identify hot button issues and generate ideas for compelling listener-relatable conversations.
Willingness to participate in on-air discussions.
Ability to write & produce promotional scripts, interview questions, breaking news or topics, studio copy, imaging and update liners as needed.
Prepare for daily show by delivering final show rundown and call list to the studio staff and conduct prep meetings prior to start of broadcast with studio support staff.
Contribute to and making use of archives and audio resources which can be used for “Best Of” and / or “Emergency” shows.
Direct on-air talent and support staff to execute and follow programming clock.
Maintain online guest booking calendar.
Oversee “real-time” execution of program in coordination with studio staff, to include dissemination of network initiatives, promotions, events, and/or contesting.
Prepare and send run down of the next day’s show to designated point person for program’s social media. Highlight pertinent content each day and send immediately after the show or during the show to the program’s social media contact.
Produce content for various outside correspondents, talent/programming segments, rejoins, demos, etc.
Coordinate talent studio/broadcast needs when broadcasting from offsite location.
Refresh/Create new imaging and drops on a consistent basis.
Manage show personnel including PTO calendars, performance appraisals, discipline and other related matters.
Verify and sign studio traffic logs per REACH Media Policy.
Post program content to Program’s various Social Media platforms.
Participate in scheduled Operational/Programming/interactive meetings as requested.
Work with show personnel to review music and airchecking sessions.
Work with Executive Management to set goals for ratings performance in affiliate markets.
Plan calendar of PR and community relations opportunities for the talent’s core business, executives and initiatives.

Strong knowledge of current FCC rules & regulations.
Strong social media knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written & verbal.
Strong computer skills including Internet website navigation, competency in Microsoft Office Suite and broadcast related programs.
Extensive experience with the use and operation of on-air broadcasting equipment and software.
Minimum two years college education or broadcast school certificate. Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting preferred.
Major or medium market radio experience preferred as a Program Director or Assistant Program Director.
Ability to work flexible schedule as needed.
Flexibility to travel as requested.
