SHANNON KNOEPKE NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT/MARKET MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF SALES, CBS RADIO MINNEAPOLIS
Shannon Knoepke has been appointed Senior Vice President/Market Manager and Diector of Sales, CBS RADIO Minneapolis, it was announced today by Scott Herman, Chief Operating Officer, CBS RADIO. In this role, she will manage all operations and sales for the market’s stations including KMNB-FM (Country), KZJK-FM (Adult Hits) and WCCO-AM (News/Talk). The appointment is effective Friday, Dec. 11.

Knoepke previously worked for CBS RADIO Minneapolis as an Account Executive with WCCO-AM from 2000-2001. She succeeds Mick Anselmo, who announced he was retiring earlier this year. Anselmo’s last day isFriday, Dec. 18.
Most recently, Knoepke was Market President with Townsquare Media for 14 stations in the Rochester/Faribault, Minn. area. Prior to that, she was Director of Sales, iHeartMedia in Cedar Rapids/Iowa City,Iowa from 2001-2009. Knoepke began her career in sales in 1997 with Cumulus as an Account Executive and then eventually moved into a Sales Manager role in Rochester, Minn.
Knoepke received her degree from Winona State University. She is currently an active Board Member of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce, Rochester Boys & Girls Club, Lourdes Foundation, Mayo Civic Center Commissioner, and Marketing Co-Chair for Journey to Growth initiative.
